When people think of the basics in life they think food, water, and shelter, but a vital aspect of life that is all too commonly left out is sight. Without vision people cannot read, write, or even cross the street safely. Sight Angel's goal is to help eliminate this problem by distributing glasses free of charge to those in need all around the world.
Sight Angels is a Colorado based non-profit organization founded by 20 year old Anna Rose. To date, Sight Angels had supplied over $378,000 worth of glasses and accessories to those who need them, locally, nationally and world wide. International donations have reach the following places and people: remote villagers in Honduras, orphans in Ghana and Zambia, Ugandan school children, people with intellectual disabilities in Victoria, women who have been brutalized in Timor-Leste, peasants in Armenia, the oppressed in Nicaragua, poor families in Mexico, earthquake victims in China, those affected by the cyclones in Myanmar and Malaysia, the underprivileged in Panama, Zulu AIDS victims in South Africa, Sudaneses genocide refugees from Darfur, Holocaust survivors, Ngaanyatjarra Aborigines and others living in Sydney, Abbotsford, Ox Hill, Kenmore, Thorn Leigh, Kalgoorlie, and Melbourne, and people living in one of the poorest nations in the world, Guinea Bissau.
There is no charge, no obligation, and no qualifying to receive these glasses. If anyone has a need, Sight Angels is more than willing to lend a helping hand.
